Andy Vine

Hi there!

I’m Andy Vine, a folk singer, now in my 60′s, and still having too much fun singing and playing music!

My best known song is Woman Of Labrador, which was recorded by the Newfoundland group Figgy Duff and published in The Great Canadian Songbook, a collection of 50 best-loved Canadian songs.

I am also a keen sailor and always loved John Masefield’s famous poem Sea Fever. So I turned it into a song. You can take a listen here.

I perform at folk clubs and community events, often accompanied by my wife Danielle Arcand on vocals and percussion. I also play with a great band called “Island Time” with some of Vancouver’s best acoustic musicians.
